Rings of Saturn Drop Off Obscura European Tour Due to “The Latest Immigration and Tax Laws”
Looks like Lucas Mann and the one person left who’s willing to be in a band with him won’t be hitting up Europe after all. The instrumental technical deathcore band Rings of Saturn dropped off the tour they had planned with Obscura, Gorod, and Skeletal Remains, and their reasoning is a little vague and more than a bit odd.
In an Instagram post yesterday, Rings of Saturn explained their exit from the tour:
“Due to unforeseen challenges with the latest immigration and tax laws in Europe / UK, Rings of Saturn will unfortunately not be able to participate in the Silver Linings Tour 2025 despite our best efforts. We encourage all of our fans who were excited to see us to go support Obscura, Gorod, and Skeletal Remains on the tour.
“In the meantime, Rings of Saturn will be working on a new album. We have some exciting announcements on the way, and we hope to see you all soon.”
That is a new one. I’m really curious to know what the hell that means exactly. In the meantime, the other three bands on the tour will carry on as planned, so the tour will continue on with the following dates:
