Abduction Drops New Track “Razors of Occam”

Extreme metal outfit Abduction dropped a new single ahead of their forthcoming album Existentialismus, titled “Razors of Occam.” The new track, considered by the band to be a “gripping prelude to the new album,” is a big, booming black metal track full of atmosphere and fury.

Speaking of the new track, vocalist A|V said “Razors of Occam” dealt with the trials and tribulations of generations past.

“‘Razors of Occam’ is a celebration of the back-breaking labour that our grandfathers and grandmothers endured over the past century to build the houses and systems that maintain our (relative) safety and comfort here in the west. There’s more honour in the last gasping breath, spilled forth from a dying old man’s chest, than in all the seas of all the tears the younger can conjure. For with one wish, they’d give it all away.”

The band’s new album will be their first since 2022’s release Black Blood.
