Shadows Fall Posted a Way Too Short Teaser for New Single Coming This Friday

Remember how last month we warned you that Shadows Fall was going to post their new single on December 6? That’s this Friday. Did you forget? Because I sure as fuck did.

But that’s to a recent post on the band’s Instagram page, we not only got a reminder, but we got an all-too-short tease of what’s to come. The song is “In The Grey” and as expected, it’s got what sounds like a super groovy, heavy riff. That’s all we know at this point since it’s literally like five seconds of the song, but color me stoked.

In anticipation for the new single, you can easily pre-save the jam right now. The aforementioned teaser also includes a bit of the music video that’ll come out at the same time as the track, so that’s a bit exciting too.

So yeah, man. They’re putting out a new song in a few days. They’ve also got a 20th anniversary show for their album The War Within set for December 21 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Coming along with them to that show ill be Unearth, E-Town Concrete, Jasta, Within The Ruins, and Brick By Brick as the opening acts.

This will be the first new track since the release of their 2012 album Fire From The Sky. The band went on hiatus back in 2014 but then came back seven years later in 2021. Since then, they’ve managed to play a few shows and festivals here and there. Only recently have they been talking about putting together their eighth studio effort, with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris at the helm.
