Former My Chemical Romance Drummer Bob Bryar Dead at 44
It is with a heavy heart that we report that former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has sadly passed away at the entirely too early age of 44.
Reports say that Bryar was found in his Tennessee home deceased on November 19, though he was last seen on November 4. No cause or manner of death has been revealed, but authorities claim they found no evidence of theft or foul play. Upon discovering Bryar’s decomposed body, Animal Control had to remove two dogs (presumably Bryar’s) off the property.
Bryar was a member of My Chem since after their iconic sophomore album Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge came out in 2004. He continued on as the band’s drummer through 2006’s The Black Parade and 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Bryar decided to leave the band just before Danger Days… was released to pursue non-musical endeavors.
Our hearts go out to Bryar’s family and friends. This is a developing story.
