Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alex Terrible Gets Facial Hematoma

All this fighting news lately, good grief. Alex Terrible, the fairly terrible frontman of Russian deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail, got his face fucked last week during a bare-knuckle fight. He received a big ass hematoma on his right cheek while sparring, obviously without wearing any headgear or protection.

He revealed his swollen-as-shit face in a video about it on Thursday, November 21. He doesn’t seem very upset about it at all. Earlier this year, Terrible (whose real name is Aleksandr Shikolai) announced that he’s more than likely going to be popping off in the ring as a new member of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). He’s supposed to make his debut just before the end of the year.

Terrible made the announcement via Full Send MMA, with BKFC officials later confirming it via MMA Fighting. He’s not sure who his first fight will be with but he’s on record saying “I really don’t care who it’s going to be.” Seems like this guy has got some stuff he’s gotta work through.

“I’m just a musician, I’m not a fighter, I’m not a sportsman, or some shit. I’m just a regular dude who grew up in the streets. You call it in the hood. In Russia, if you grow up in a village, it is the hood. Then I found a boxing gym, I found myself in this f*cking boxing, a new passion.

“I just want to fight and I have nothing to lose because I’m a musician. If they put me against a fighter and if I knock him out, good. If he knocks me out, I don’t f*cking care. I just want to put on a good fight and show what I have in my heart. That’s it.”
