Underoath to Livestream Chicago Stop for They’re Only Chasing Safety 20th Anniversary Tour

0

Florida-based metalcore giants Underoath are really going all out this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their popular fourth album They’re Only Chasing Safety, which they released in 2004. They’re currently on a short break from their massive 20th anniversary tour which kicked off in Europe before heading over to North America. They’re playing the entire album for the whole tour, and then they head over to Australia with Alexisonfire to do a short tour there where they’re also playing the album in its entirety. After that, they’re opening for Papa Roach on the “Rise of the Roach” tour for whatever reason. But if you still don’t get a chance to catch them on their many, many tour dates, there’s still hope as the band just announced they’ll be livestreaming their Chicago stop on their current tour on November 24.

According to the announcement on the band’s Instagram, the livestream comes as part of a partnership with Veeps and Audiotree. A ticket to the livestream allows you to catch the performance live and rewatch the set for up to two weeks afterwards. And the whole thing goes to a good cause, as all the proceeds are being donated to Band Together Relief.

Band Together Relief is a charity started by a collection of artists to raise money for communities hit by the devastation of Hurricane Helene and Milton, which tore through Florida and North Carolina in recent months. The Band Together Relief website has special merchandise from a handful of bands including Underoath, A Day to Remember, Anberlin, and Emery, with all proceeds going towards hurricane relief.

Tickets for the livestream are on sale right now from Veeps. If you’d rather catch Underoath in person, though, the rest of the dates on their scheduled tour can be found below.
