Speed Announce Australian Tour for Early 2025
Everyone’s favorite Australian hardcore band with a flute, Speed, have been having a really good year this year with the recent release of their debut LP Only One Mode on Flatspot Records back in July. They played a tour opening for Knocked Loose, they went on a whirlwind North American headlining tour with Angel Du$t, Modern Life is War, Buggin, and more, they made international headlines by boycotting the Download Festival, they got gifted a shit ton of pizzas. It’s been a wild year for these guys. Now the only thing left to do is to return triumphantly to their home country for an Australian tour, which they’re starting out on in January.
The tour looks to be one of the most extensive tours anyone’s done of the country in a while, with Speed set to hit up 15 different cities throughout Australia, including two separate shows at different venues in Perth to close out the tour. The tour also makes a stop off in a place called Wollongong, which I refused to believe is a real city and not just a name someone came up with during a fever dream after watching Crocodile Dundee 3.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday. Full list of dates below.
