Dieth is Back with a New Single “Animal Me”
Remember that one band that ex-Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has called Dieth? You know, the one featured Entombed A.D.’s Guilherme Miranda and Decapitated’s Łysejko? Well, they’re back and they’ve got a new song to try to get people hyped for their upcoming European tour. And I imagine to remind people that they exist.
The new track, titled “Animal Me”, feels… kinda stock. Like… It sure is a song you can listen to in 2024. Are the musicians technically proficient? Absolutely. Am I going to remember this song exists after I hit publish on this post? Not a chance.
Regardless of how the song sounds, the dudes in the band are stoked about it. Miranda explained the song as such:
“’Animal Me’ represents the breaking of the threshold of what was once thought possible. It’s about reaching that moment when someone has pushed you beyond all your limits, and now it’s time to show them the way—your way. No one can be like you or possess the unique power that lies within you. No lies, no pretense—just the pure release of your own truth.”
Similarly, Ellefson really stroked the band’s ego a bit.
“We had a terrific launch of our debut last year and we’ve been hard at work on new material these past months, so it’s great to drop a new track today just ahead of our shows coming up this month across Europe.”
Later this month, Dieth will go on tour across Europe with Kings of Thrash, meaning Ellefson’s gonna be on double duty. Should be an interesting run. You can find the dates below.
