Lamb Of God, Clutch, Devildriver, and More Announced for Next Year’s Headbangers Boat
This year’s iteration of Headbangers Boat is currently disrupting the high seas as we speak, but we already know some of the bands that’ll be making the aquatic fishes’ lives a living hell during next year’s trip, thanks to an announcement personally made by Lamb of God‘s Randy Blythe.
According to the man himself, next year’s Headbangers Boat cruise will naturally be headlined by Lamb Of God. That shouldn’t surprise anyone. What should surprise you though are some of the bands on the initial list of confirmed acts:
- The Black Dahlia Murder
- Brat
- Clutch
- Crowbar
- Devildriver
- Eighteen Visions
- Fear Factory
- Kublai Khan TX
- Obituary
Great googly moogly, that’s one hell of an initial list. The addition of Obituary alone is fucking awesome, but add the rest of the bands on that list? Baby, you got one hell of a heavy metal stew going. Or should I say gumbo, given how many of those bands call New Orleans their home…
Blythe also confirmed that next year’s cruise will sail from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico on October 31, 2025 to November 4, 2025, so be sure to board the boat with the most ridiculous costume you can muster.
With this being the second year of Lamb Of God’s cruise, the Norwegian Gem left Miami this past Monday to visit the new port of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The ship will return to Miami tomorrow.
It’s really great to hear that everything’s been going swimmingly so far. Considering the tragic events that happened last year involving an overboard attendee, we’re so happy to hear things remain fun this time around.
