Upon A Burning Body Drop Off Remaining Dates of Mushroomhead Tour

0

In tour cancelation news that thankfully doesn’t involve Tim Lambesis, Texas metalcore act Upon A Burning Body announced that they will have to cancel the rest of their tour with Mushroomhead, as well as a headlining gig they had planned for after the tour.

In a statement on Instagram, the band said:

“Due to personal reasons we will not be finishing off the tour with Mushroomhead. We are sorry to not be able to play in the last few cities. Columbus, Flint, Cleveland, and the headliner in Lexington are all cancelled for us. Mushroomhead and the other two bands are still performing as scheduled.

“We will still have merch set up at The King of Clubs tonight in Columbus if you’d like to pick up a shirt or anything. Thank you for your understanding and respect of our privacy at this time.”

The post was accompanied by a caption reading:

“PSA. Please respect our privacy at this time. Thank you for your understanding. We will be back in this area for sonic temple, we will see you all soon.”

In a subsequent follow-up post, they explained that the cancelation was due to their guitarist Ruben Alvarez being forced to return home due to a family emergency. The cancelation only affects the last three dates on the Mushroomhead tour, including last night’s show in Columbus, OH. We hope that everything turns out okay for Alvarez and his family.

The full list of affected dates is listed below:

With Mushroomhead:

10/25 – Flint, MI @ Machine Shop
10/26 – Cleveland, OH @ Agora Theater

Headlining show:
