Babymetal Plans to Turn Europe Kawaii with Newly Announced Arena Tour

European fans of the heavy and cute Babymetal should be incredibly stoked about today’s latest news, as the band announced they’ll be touring the continent’s arenas for the first time ever next year. And after having seen them play in person, I gotta say — it’s a great time.

The tour will kick off on May 10 at the Forest National in Brussels, Belgium and will run for a few weeks until their final show on the run at London’s O2 Arena on May 30. Along the way, they’ll make stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, and Paris, among other locales.

Coming along with them will be Poppy and Bambie Thug as supporters.

As far as a statement from the band goes about the newly announced arena run, they naturally left a pretty cryptic message:

“In 2025, Babymetal will enter a new era. The Metalverse will expand and we will travel to a world we have never experienced, with new songs.”

A new era? Does that mean we’ll soon hear about a new album? They mentioned new songs and they’ve been busy lately through collaboration, so who knows what’s coming next?
