Ex-Mr. Bungle Member Found Guilty of First Degree Murder

It’s giving I.D. Channel. It’s very Agatha Christie-coated, or whatever the fuck is the new phrase the young kids are saying because I’m sure as shit too old for that and really don’t know what it all means. What I DO know, though, is that resident ex-Mr. Bungle moron Theobald “Theo” Brooks Lengyel has been a very bad boy who was just found guilty of first degree murder.

Just in case you forgot, the 55-year-old monster was accused of murdering his 61-year-old girlfriend Alice “Alyx” Kamakaokalani Herrmann in her own goddamn house in Capitola, CA.

The jury reached their decision on Friday, October 11, only one day after the Santa Cruz County court went into deliberation. The trial itself lasted six weeks, wherein a recording from Hermann’s phone (I have to say “allegedly” here. But like, we all know this is true) was played where you can sadly hear her begging for her life to Lengyel as he strangles her to death.

Shit got hella sus when Hermann went missing, having last been seen in December of last year. A missing person investigation was launched, and her remains were found in Tilden Regional Park in Berkeley, CA. Lengyel was very obviously a suspect, and was arrested just one month after Hermann was marked as missing, on January 2, 2024,

Apparently this was all sparked by the fact that Lengyel was trying to force Hermann to play pool with him when she didn’t want to. It escalated quickly, with Lengyel bringing her dog into this for no fucking reason by threatening to kill that poor little thing. After this, as that phone recording shows, everything went rapidly downhill and you can hear her repeated pleas for her life. It’s heavy, and just so upsetting.

What a fucking asshole. Lengyel is facing life in prison, so at least he’ll get to rot away like the expired meat suit he is. Our hearts continue to go out to Hermann’s family and everyone else negatively affected by that idiot’s actions.
