Kid Rock Got Real Butthurt Over a Stephen King Tweet

0

There has got to be no bigger bloodsport in 2024 than the political discourse that takes place on Elon Musk’s current bastardization of Twitter. It’s an online space where everyone’s an idiot asshole that knows nothing about nothing and that applies on both sides of the political spectrum. Just a buncha fucking morons with too much time on their hands.

Speaking of morons with too much time on their hands, everyone’s favorite Bud Light deadshot, grifter, and occasional musician Kid Rock got real triggered yesterday when he read that famed author Stephen King doesn’t like former President Donald Trump.

The horror author’s tweet in question suggested that “we’re all fucked” if El Trumpito regained the White House, especially in the made up scenario where Musk would end up as Secretary of the Treasury and Kid Rock landed the Secretary of Defense post.

“Trump for President.
Musk for Secretary of the Treasury.
Kid Rock for Secretary of Defense.
We’re all fucked.”

Now, to be absolutely clear, those appointments haven’t been hinted at in the slighted by Trump — but we’ve all seen Celebrity Apprentice and that sounds exactly like something he’d do in a second term.

Either way, that didn’t sit well with Robert James Ritchie (aka Kid Rock). In his response, he called the called king a “fucktard” after rattling off supposed benefits the country would get if Trump were re-elected. It should be noted he included Musk and Trump’s account names in his tweet, just so those guys could see how much of a white night he is on the internet.

“A booming economy, our southern border under control, energy independence, less regulations that cripple small businesses, Elon can drain the swamp and get rid of big government waste and I’d be proud to execute President Trumps peace through strength policy…If you call that fucked, you sir, are a fucktard! -Kid Rock”

Remember, this is the grifter that made a huge stink over Bud Lite’s single can sent to a trans influencer but refused to follow the boycott and sold it at his bar. Real principled, that guy.

Now, I’m not going to go out on a limb and say a lot of what he said would be a pipe dream since we already know his platform from the pages of Project 2025, but I digress. Mind you, it would have actually been a reasonable tweet if he’d stuck with the actual policy proposals he likes — regardless of how pie in the sky they really are. Instead, like most political dialogue these days, it divulged into name calling and division.

As we get closer to the election in less than a month’s time, I’m sure we’ll see more of this sort of shit from our favorite (and not so favorite) musicians. I can’t wait to find out how Ted Nugent’s going to feel about this, nor can I wait to learn what Corey Taylor thinks about it, too. Fun.
