Couch Slut to Reissue My Life As A Woman to Mark Its 10 Year Anniversary
Ten years after the release of their debut album My Life As A Woman, New York City noise rock outfit Couch Slut are commemorating that milestone with the release of a newly remastered and reissued version. Due out on December 6 via Brutal Panda Records, fans will get a chance to hear the self-produced album in a new way.
Fans will know that My Life As A Woman has been out of print for some time. So with the reissue coming soon, now donning a censored paper bag slip cover to obscure the controversial and NSFW album cover, fans new and old can get their hands on the record. This time around, it’s been remastered by Matt Colton (Sunn O))) and Aphex Twin).
In addition to the new version, this 10th anniversary edition includes a nearly 40-page zine written and compiled by Amy Mills, with additional liner notes from the band and music writer Hank Shteamer.
Though we’re roughly two months out from the reissue’s release, you can preorder your copy of My Life As A Woman (10th Anniversary Edition) today via Brutal Panda Records, both directly from the label and over on their Bandcamp.
