Category 7 (Overkill, Armored Saint, Exodus, and Ex-Machine Head) Announce Debut Headlining Tour
Heavy metal supergroup Category 7 are taking another big step as a band, as they just announced a headlining run of dates throughout the U.S. next year that should kick serious ass. I say that last bit because we all know the dudes in this band and they’re all bad motherfuckers.
Just to make my point, I should remind you that Category 7 is comprised of John Bush (Armored Saint, Anthrax), Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob, Sonic Universe), Phil Demmel (Machine Head, Kerry King, Vio-Lence), Jack Gibson (Exodus), and Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Overkill). All road dogs. All extremely well known in our world. All proven badasses.
Bush said he was excited to get Category 7 out on the road, especially since it will be the first time they’ll play in front of a crowd.
“Looking forward to Category 7 blowing off the roofs of some venues on the East Coast and Midwest in March of 2025. This will be the first time the band will be playing live so come and check out some killer musicianship. Playing songs from the debut record should be fun. See ya there!”
As you can see from the list of tour dates below, the run will start on March 6, 2025 in Baltimore and come to a close in Atlanta, Georgia on March 23. Throughout the tour, various supporting acts will come and go, with the main stays being the mighty Exhorder. Other supporting acts include Dead By Wednesday, Hand Of The Tribe, Engineered Society Project, Misfire, and H1Z1, though which bands will be playing at any date will depend. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 11, with presales happening elsewhere starting tomorrow, October 9. You can also get your hands on some VIP upgrades over at Category 7’s official website.
