Tetrarch’s Diamond Rowe Gets Her Own Signature Guitar

0

Let me get this out of the way right now—I am NOT here to argue the merit of Black people in metal. It’s 2024, and the fact that there are still people out there who don’t think Black people have or deserve to have a seat at the metal table is just so disheartening. As a Black woman myself, I openly and on business say that anyone who feels that way can sincerely and severely fuck off.

OKAY, so, Diamond Rowe, founding vocalist and lead guitarist from nu-metal band Tetrarch, has broken metal history. Not only has she become the first Black woman in metal to get her own signature guitar, but she’s also the first woman in general to have her own one with Jackson Guitars in company history. And it’s goddamn pretty looking, too. Check out the demo video for it below.

Needless to say, Rowe was more than fucking stoked about such an achievement.

“I‘m so excited about this new venture with the Jackson family. This is a historic collaboration – as I am the first female in the history of Jackson with a signature guitar and the first African American female signature artist in heavy music. I feel so honored to have now joined such an elite group of players that are a part of this club. Many who have inspired me along this journey to get here. It’s truly humbling.”
