Former Rings of Saturn Vocalist Ian Bearer Joins AngelMaker

0

Ever see a friend break up with their abusive partner and then find someone much better for them? This story is kind of like that. Three years after Ian Bearer departed the band that is apparently “the Lucas Mann project,” better known as Rings of Saturn, he’s landed in another band, namely AngelMaker. He seems to be replacing vocalist Mike Greenwood, who exited the band quietly with no announcement.

Guitarist Colton Bennett made the announcement of the band’s newest member on his Instagram, writing:

“It is with great pride and excitement to announce that AngelMaker will be moving forward with our very good friend and ally, Ian Bearer (formerly of Rings of Saturn) alongside Casey Tyson-Pearce as a permanent member on vocals. Stay tuned for new music and catch us on our upcoming tour dates with The Black Dahlia Murder, Dying Fetus, Spite and Vomit Forth.

“AngelMaker is
Casey Tyson-Pearce (Vocals) 2011-2024
Colton Bennett (Guitar) 2011-2024
Cole Rideout (Bass) 2011-2024
Matt Perrin (Guitar) 2014-2024
Johnny Ciardullo (Guitar) 2020-2024
Steven Sanchez (Drums) 2022-2024
Ian Bearer (Vocals)”

So good news for everyone who thinks Rings of Saturn isn’t the same without a vocalist, now you can catch their vocalist without having to suffer through any of Lucas Mann’s bullshit. The post seems to imply that Bearer will be joining the band for their tour with The Black Dahlia Murder and Dying Fetus, which started last night. You can find the list of dates down below.
