Sol Invicto, Featuring Members of Deftones SikTh, and Cypress Hill, Announce Debut EP
Way back in 2017, a supergroup called Sol Invicto released a super rare, private double album on their own titled Initium. Since then, the project comprised of Deftones SikTh, and Cypress Hill has occasionally put out demos and experimental tracks, but today they announced the impending release of what they’re calling their debut EP, titled Loosely Aware.
Set for release on November 8, Loosely Aware is three-track taste of what producer/guitarist Richie Londres, Stephen Carpenter (Deftones), and Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill) have been cooking up. For example, the first single “The Obvious Play” is a heavy tune that features vocals from Sean Plague of Plague To Pyres. You can check that song out below.
Given the fact that this is the band’s first official release, Loosely Aware promises something heavy and punchy, especially thanks to SikTh drummer Dan Foord’s contributions.
You can pre-save and/or pre-order the EP right now, weeks ahead of its official November 8 release.
