Marilyn Manson to Release Comeback Album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson announced this morning that he’s got a big comeback album titled One Assassination Under God — Chapter 1 coming out on November 22 via Nuclear Blast. In addition to the announcement, he’s dropped the album’s third single, “Sacrilegious,” which appeared on YouTube yesterday with almost zero fanfare.

Nine new songs will be featured in the album with a title so long and pretentious that Fiona Apple would think it’s a bit much, including the two other singles we’ve already heard — “Raise the Red Flag” and “As Sick As The Secrets Within”.

Given the fact that the album title ends with Chapter 1 makes it clear that Manson wants this to be part of a series. How many chapters are we going to get of Manson whining about all the people being unfair to him? Regardless, preorders for Chapter 1 have already begun through Nuclear Blast, a German label that I sincerely hope only signed Manson due to some sort of translation mistake.
