The Halo Effect Outline New Album March of the Unheard, First Single “Detonate” Streaming Now
Earlier today, Swedish melodic death metal outfit The Halo Effect announced their follow up to 2022’s Days of the Lost, titled March of the Unheard. To mark the occasion, they’ve dropped the album’s first explosive single “Detonate” and its accompanying video.
Set to release on January 10 via Nuclear Blast Records, the album will feature 12 brand new songs, along with four bonus tracks. Among those new songs is the aforementioned single, which you can check out below. As the name would suggest, it’s a high energy song that features the band’s signature sound. It’s upbeat, melodic, and according to guitarist Niclas Engelin, a great track to get people pumped for the new record.

For those that don’t know, The Halo Effect is comprised of five former members of In Flames: guitarist Jesper Strömblad, drummer Daniel Svensson, bassist Peter Iwers, guitarist Niclas Engelin, and vocalist Mikael Stanne. With that kind of pedigree, it’s fairly safe to assume the new album has a very high chance of being damn good.
March of the Unheard will be released on January 10 via Nuclear Blast Records, but you can preorder your copy today.
