Speed, Angel Du$t, and DMIZE to Headline 2025 Disturbin’ the Peace Festival
Baltimore-based hardcore label Flatspot Records has become the primary place to go for socially-conscious hardcore music lately. One of the best albums to come out of the label was Only One Mode from Australian hardcore geniuses, Speed, which combined blistering hardcore music with flute playing, which is one of those bizarre things that somehow works, like putting chocolate in a savory dish or casting Adam Sandler in a drama film. And now Flatspot will be bringing the gang called Speed themselves to Baltimore for their fourth annual Disturbin’ the Peace Festival.
Flatspot announced the lineup for the 2025 edition of the festival on Friday, with Speed, Angel Du$t, and DMIZE announced as headliners. Those are already three epic headliners, but to add to the epicness is the fact that NYHC unit DMIZE have never played a show in Baltimore before. Try the crab cakes and take the John Waters Baltimore tour while you’re there, guys.
2024’s edition of the festival was headlined by Biohazard and featured such big names as H20, The Chisel, and Jivebomb. The 2025 festival, which will take place on February 1 at Baltimore Soundstage boasts an equally killer lineup. Check out the full list of bands below:
Speed
Angel Du$t
DMIZE
Jivebomb
Raw Brigade
Life’s Question

Tickets for Disturbin’ the Peace are on sale now and tickets are $50 a head, which isn’t bad for a music festival these days. With 11 bands on the bill, that averages out to about $4.55 per band. With prices that cheap, it’s like as if a music festival was sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon. Oh wait, the festival is sponsored by PBR. So I guess that makes sense.
