Veil Of Maya Go on Hiatus, Cancel All Live Shows
In a bit of news that seemingly came out of nowhere, Veil Of Maya announced earlier today that all of their previously announced live shows aren’t going to happen and the band’s now in an indefinite hiatus. There’s no news as to why the band’s gone on said hiatus, but they released the following statement about the decision:
“We have made the difficult decision to have Veil Of Maya go on hiatus and we will not be playing any of the upcoming festivals or tours.
“We apologize to our fans and appreciate everyone’s support over the years. This break is necessary for us to reassess our future, and we hope you understand. When the time feels right, we’ll update you on what’s next for Veil Of Maya.
“We will be back. Thank you again.”
It’s great to see that the band plans on returning, but as it stands we don’t know when that’s going to happen. The band’s most recent release was last year’s full-length effort Mother, with their most recent stint on the road being the Summer Slaughter tour.
Here’s hoping they come back in some capacity soon.
