Jerry Cantrell Debuted a New Song “Afterglow” During Last Night’s Show

0

With a new album coming next month titled I Want Blood, it should come as no shock that Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell is willing to pull a new song out of his back pocket during a live show. During last night’s performance in San Antonio, Texas, that’s exactly what happened, as he debuted a song titled “Afterglow” for fans at the gig. Dude’s a consummate performer, after all.

Thankfully, someone at the show filmed the song in question. Sure, it’s not as exciting as a studio recorded track, but it gives us another glimpse into what the new record’s going to sound like. And if you’ve ever heard his solo material, you already know it’s got a real good chance of being another banger.

Cantrell is currently out on tour as the supporting act for Bush. There are only a few days left, though, so if you’d like to catch Cantrell (and Bush, I guess) live, you can find out where they’ll be playing and get your tickets below.

I Want Blood will be released on October 18 via Double J Music, but you can preorder your copy today.
