Dying Wish Announces First Annual “Dying Wishmas” Holiday Show
Some Christmas traditions are absolutely sacred: Santa Claus ushering in the season with his appearance at the end of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the airing of It’s a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve, me getting drunk on soy nog and texting all my exes. Well, now Portland, Oregon metalcore act Dying Wish want to establish a new tradition in their hometown.
Yesterday, Dying Wish announced via Instagram their first annual Christmas bash, to be known as “Dying Wishmas,” at the Roseland Theater in Portland on December 7. In addition to Dying Wish themselves, the supporting acts will be Twitching Tongues, Torture, Foreign Hands, Slime, and Boltcutter. Absolutely nothing speaks to the true essence of the holiday spirit like rocking out to a band called Slime.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., and in the meantime you can catch Dying Wish on their co-headlining tour with Pain of Truth this October:
