Check Out Opeth Drummer Waltteri Väyrynen Playing Through “Paragraph One”
I don’t know if it’s possible to describe just how insanely stoked I am for the new Opeth album, The Last Will & Testament. After hearing the first song “Paragraph One” and learning that frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt will be growling in it once again, there’s just no reason why this album won’t be good.
Earlier today, drummer Waltteri Väyrynen posted a video on the band’s official YouTube page showing his playthrough of the new song. As expected, he rips through the whole thing. As someone that could never do that with my body, the level of precision and coordination on display looks like fuckin’ magic. You can check out the video yourself down below.
The Last Will & Testament will be released on October 11 via Reigning Phoenix Music/Moderbolaget, but you can preorder your copy today.
