Primal Fear Add Guitarist Thalìa Bellazecca to Their Lineup
Remember last week when Primal Fear basically broke up with each other? Four of the mates — guitarists Alex Beyrodt and Tom Naumann, bassist Alex Jansen, and drummer Michael Ehré, to be specific — are of Primal Fear no more, but fear not. The band has added Thalìa Bellazecca (Angus McSix, ex-Frozen Crown) to rock on guitar alongside Magnus Karlsson.
The announcement came yesterday via a post the band made on their Facebook page since apparently that’s the only way we get fuckin information nowadays. The post excitedly welcomed the 24-year-old Bellazecca to the group, with vocalist Ralf Scheepers speaking of her and her talents fondly.:
“After my last show in Italy, I got to know Thalìa personally and I realized what a wonderful person she is… Anyone who knows me knows that personal contact and sympathy is very important to me. So I read up on her musical projects and skills and was blown away by her incredible talent! I can’t wait to work with her in the studio and of course live soon!”
Bellazecca obviously shares the sentiment, adding:
“I’m stoked and excited to have the opportunity to play with these giants of the heavy and power metal scene. I feel so honored to share the stage with these amazing musicians and to start a new journey also with this incredible and historical band! Can’t wait to start working with all of you!”
So far, there haven’t been any murmurs or hints about who will join the band as the drummer. Primal Fear signed with new record label Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM) back in June for the release of their next studio album, so hopefully they’ll have all their shit together by then.
