Photos: Crown The Empire, Capstan, and Dark Divine at Theatre of Living Arts in Philly on Aug. 20, 2024
Earlier this month, the ‘Not Dead Yet’ tour headlined by Crown The Empire and featuring Capstan, and Dark Divine made its way to Philadelphia’s Theatre of Living Arts (or the TLA if you’re from around here). The 21-date tour had already crisscrossed the U.S. and made a couple stops in Canada, so by the time they came to the City of Brotherly Love, the bands were firing on all cylinders.
What that meant was the night was full of great performances for a crowd that was itching to let it all out on the floor. Crown The Empire specifically has been touring in support of their 2023 record DOGMA, so fans got to hear some tracks from the new shit, as well as some of their favorites.
And as you can probably tell since this is a photo post, we had a photographer there to document the thing. Our intrepid photographer Jess Ripper headed out to catch the show from behind her DSLR camera. What resulted was the images you can check out below.
Another big thank you to Jess Ripper, who was at the show to take these great photos. Comment on how good her work is down below. Oh and feel free to follow her on Instagram at @jess1ripper.
As for the tour, there are still three dates left and they’re all in Texas. If you’re able to get to the Lone Star state, or you already live there, the following shows are the end of the line, so it’s now or never.
