Ov Sulfur’s Final The Burden Ov Faith B-Side “Untruth” Now Streaming Ahead of Their Tour

0

Later this week, blackened deathcore act Ov Sulfur will hit the road with Signs Of The Swarm, Cane Hill, 156/Silence, and A Wake In Providence in support of their newest release, The Burden Ov Faith. To get everyone hyped up and to remind everyone of that aforementioned album, they’ve dropped what they’re calling the final B-side to said record, titled “Untruth.”

Even though guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson said the song was the first one they wrote when they began working on The Burden Ov Faith, it ended up being the last track for the band to debut. According to him, the song underwent many iterations before landing on the track you can hear below.

“It’s funny that one of the first songs we started writing for the album is the last one we’re dropping from the sessions. What you hear is what we settled on after many evolutions, with Ricky [Hoover, vocals] pleading with those who use religion as a crutch to realize they’ve been terribly misled. What will it take and when will we learn that we must burn every inch of the lie that has been instilled into us from a young age?”

Set to kick off this Thursday, August 29 in Worcester, Massachusetts, the tour will continue on a more than two dozen date run, culminating in the bands’ final show on September 28 in Lakewood, Ohio. Tickets are currently available, so be sure to check the full list of dates below for details.
