Phil Anselmo’s Housecore Records Celebrates ‘National Dog Day’ with Special T-Shirt Design

Who doesn’t love dogs?! Those furry little bastards love it when you come home and are always down to do whatever you’re doing since they just want to be around their favorite human. So naturally there’d be a “National Dog Day” and it turns out today’s that day.

White grape juice aficionado and Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo is also a noted dog lover, so it makes sense that the dude would want to do something to mark the occasion. Earlier today, he took to his record label Housecore Records’ YouTube page to hype up the holiday and announce that he’s selling some special merch to pay tribute to the label’s doggos. The print, dubbed “Man’s ‘Other’ Best Friend’, features a cartoonish (and slightly off-putting) version of Anselmo, surrounded by his dogs from over the years in a firey pentagram, because it’s gotta remain metal.

“We at Housecore Records love our doggies. They are our best friends… So get yourself a shirt and your best friend a bandana.”
