Comedian Dave Hill’s Going Off-Broadway with Caveman in a Spaceship

0

You may remember him from his King of Metal days, or his Metal Grasshopper show, or you might be too young to remember any of that 2010s shit, but friend of the website and all around hilarious dude Dave Hill has been killing it lately. If you don’t follow his Instagram or TikTok, you’re seriously fucking up. Dude’s just piss yourself funny.

It turns out the guitar shredding, irreverent comedian is moving up in the entertainment biz, with his show Caveman in a Spaceship getting a special off-Broadway run in New York City. And that’s pretty huge for a show that’s described as a blend of “stand-up, storytelling, sweet guitar solos, ill-advised feats of strength, and at least one BMX stunt…that explores life, death, love, religion, and his ever-growing discomfort in an often confusing, futuristic world.”

Seriously, if you’ve ever seen any of his comedy, you gotta check out his show. This run follows the show’s stay at London’s SoHo Theatre this past spring, as well as a stint opening for Tenacious D, so he’s kind of a big deal.

Set to run on Mondays at 7 p.m. and Fridays at 10 p.m. from September 16 to October 11 at the SoHo Playhouse, tickets to the show are currently on presale, with the general public getting a chance to purchase their seats this Friday, August 23 at 10 a.m.
