Tommy Lee Recalls Time as an Escort: “F*cking When You’re Not Into It is a Weird Thing”

Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has had a colorful life, especially for playing one of the most often forgotten about positions in any band. But Lee is not a shrinking violet, and always seems to make sure we’re aware of him. From his time as a failed rapper to his infamous sex tape, Lee has led one of the most colorful lives in metal.

In a recent interview with the Theo Von Podcast (as reported on by Loudwire), Lee talked about the time when he was young and worked as a male escort. While I ’idn’t know that Lee had ever worked as a male escort, I remain utterly unsurprised by this revelation. Here’s what Lee had to say about the experience:

“There was this lady that was in our apartment complex, she was like a madam. She was running her thing and yeah, you’d get paid to go out with these older women and just sit there and have dinner with them or if they wanted to fuck, do that too. I did that for about a year or so, about a year or two.”

But the drummer soon revealed that the actual sex part of the job was a huge downside:

“If the lady was like an older lady where you’re like, ‘I hope this is just dinner,’ you’re stoked. I’m just gonna have dinner and drinks and entertain her and that’s it, then you’d get stoked when that would happen … but sometimes they wanted more and you’re like, [cringing] ‘Oh man. That part is not fun cause fucking when you’re not into it is a weird thing.”

I feel like every woman in the world reading that last sentence just let out a loud “Mmm-hmm” at the phrase “fucking when you’re not into it is a weird thing.” Yeah, that’s one hell of an understatement, Tommy. I’m certainly glad Tommy Lee didn’t last too long in that job, because that kind of thing can be utterly traumatizing.
