Dreamless Veil (feat. Artificial Brain and Psycroptic Members) to Drop Debut Next Month
New band alert! Extreme metal outfit Dreamless Veil are gearing up to burst onto the scene with their debut album Every Limb of the Flood on September 20 via Relapse Records. Now, before you go and comment with the obligatory “who?” just hold on, because there’s a good chance you already know these guys from their other projects.
That’s because Dreamless Veil is comprised of multi-instrumentalist Dan Gargiulo (Artificial Brain), drummer Dave Haley (Psycroptic), and vocalist Mike Paparo (Artificial Brain, Inter Arma). With that much talent under one banner, you should be getting pretty stoked about the “blackened concept album” due next month. According to the band, the album “follows the travails of Grief, a character who awakens from extended debauchery and begins the slow and torturous process of trying to disappear completely.”
To get the hype up for their upcoming release, the band released the first single off of Every Limb of the Flood, titled “A Generation of Eyes.” It’s dark and atmospheric, with a mix of both black and death metal mashed up together if you’re into that sort of thing.
