Butcher Babies Announce Fall Tour “With New Music in Hand”
Butcher Babies recently announced the departure of their co-vocalist and founding member Carla Harvey, but apparently they’re not stopping to regroup since they just announced a headlining tour for this fall. They’re calling it the “GOOD LORD! The Butcher’s Ded” Tour, due to one of the support acts being nu-metal band Ded. Dropout Kings and Fox Lake will also be supporting on the tour.
When announcing the tour on Instagram, Butcher Babies promised that they would be touring “with NEW music in hand!” but didn’t really explain what that means. Will they be releasing a new album between now and the tour? Or are they just going to be trying out new music that nobody in the audience has heard yet on the tour?
God, I hate when bands do that. Playing songs that nobody in the audience knows at least gives audience members a chance to go get a drink or go to the bathroom during the set, but that’s about the only appeal.
