Blood Incantation to Headline North American Tour with Midwife
Spaced out death metallers Blood Incantation have a new album coming out this October titled Absolute Elsewhere, so it makes sense that the dudes would chalk up a North American tour in support of it. TItled the ‘Absolute Elsetour’, the 23-date tour will feature support by Midwife and Steve Roach, depending on the dates.
According to the band, their forthcoming run will officially start on October 4 at their album release show in Boulder, Colorado. After that, the tour won’t start in earnest until shit kicks off on November 9 in Portland, Oregon and comes to a close on December 5 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Looking forward to the tour, the dudes in Blood Incantation put out the following statement:
“At last, prepare yourself to experience the entirety of our new album across North America this fall. Joining us on the premiere leg of the worldwide ‘Absolute Elsetour’ campaign will be the singular and prolific Midwife, presenting a dichotomy of sonic extremities destined to take you deep into uncharted cosmic realms.
“Ahead of this, our inaugural voyage into the ‘Absolute Elsewhere’ timeline will be christened by none other than the enigmatic Master of Silence, Mr. Steve Roach, who will open the Stargate alongside us at the Boulder Theater on October 4th, in a unique and exploratory event truly showcasing Cosmic Music for Cosmic People.”
An artist pre-sale for tickets will go live tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST (password: STARGATE), with the general public getting their crack at tickets this Friday, August 9 at 10 a.m. local.
Absolute Elsewhere will be released on October 4 via Century Media, but you can preorder or pre-save your copy today.
