The Black Dahlia Murder Tease Their Next Single “Mammoth’s Hand”

0

We’ve officially reached that point in the hype train for The Black Dahlia Murder‘s forthcoming album Servitude — we’re getting teasers for singles days in advance. Do they need to use such tactics to get us all excited for new music? Nah. But they’re gonna do it anyway and if I have to live in a world where I now know I have four sleeps until I get to hear the next single “Mammoth’s Hand,” then you have to as well.

According to a post on the band’s social media accounts, the aforementioned single will drop on Tuesday, along with what looks like a badass animated music video. In said post, which we’ve imported below, you also get to hear a bit of the track as well.

As we’ve reported in the past, Servitude is the band’s 10th full-length, but will be the first to feature ex-guitarist-turned-vocalist Brian Eschbach after the untimely death of frontman Trevor Strnad. This new album is also the first time since 2015’s Abysmal that guitarist Ryan Knight has been back in the band.

Servitude will be released on September 27 via Metal Blade Records, but you can preorder your copy today.

Additionally, if you’d like to catch ’em live, you’ll have your chance later this year when they co-headline a run of shows with the immortal Dying Fetus. You can check out the full list of dates below.
