Vended’s Self-Titled Debut Album Coming September, Headlining Tour Announced
The fledgling metal band featuring two Slipknot kids is taking a major step in their careers, as Vended announced this morning that their self-titled debut album will be released on September 20. Featuring Corey Taylor‘s son Griffin and M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan’s son Simon, the band certainly has a head start over other bands making it out on their own.
The new album features previously released singles like “Am I The Only One,” “The Far Side,” and “Nihilism,” so you’ve already got a bit of a taste of what they’ve got in store with this release.
Speaking of the album, Taylor said it’s definitely going to fit in with anyone looking for aggressive, loud music.
“There’s a level of aggression and emotion that’s missing from music right now, and we aim to fill that void on this album. It represents everything that Vended are about. ‘Fuck your ignorance, just grab ahold of it.’ You’re either with us or against us. Vended is a unit aimed at world domination, and this album is the first step. Welcome to Vended.”
In addition to the new album announcement, the band revealed that they’ve got a lot of live dates coming up, including some headlining gigs too. You can find all of the live dates below.
