Slipknot Announces Lineups for Knotfest Argentina and Knotfest Chile

0

It’s about that time again. Slipknot‘s festival Knotfest is once again headed back to South America and this time they’ve got newly-added Brazilian drummer Eloy Casagrande in tow. Earlier this month, they announced the lineup for Knotfest Brazil, with Slipknot performing two sets: one to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled album and the other being a “special Iowa show.” Now, according to Metal Injection, they’ve released their lineup for Knotfests in Argentina and Chile.

You’ll notice from the lineups listed below that the Chile lineup is mostly the Argentina lineup with a few extra bands. But once again, the lineups seem to be a combination of nu-metal classic bands and modern metal favorites. Toxic metal fans will certainly complain that BABYMETAL and Poppy are playing and then will try to find a way to claim that their complaints are not about gender.

Here’s the lineup for both festivals:

Knotfest Argentina

Slipknot (25th anniversary set)
Amon Amarth
Meshuggah
BABYMETAL

Knotfest Chile

Slipknot (25th anniversary set)
Disturbed
Mudvayne
Amon Amarth
BABYMETAL
Poppy
Orbit Culture

If you’re not in South America, Slipknot has a lot of regular tour dates coming up later in the year, including a U.S. tour with Knocked Loose. Check out their full list of tour dates below:
