Former Spiritbox Bassist Bill Crook Has Died

Some sad news broke over social media today, as people close to former Spiritbox bassist Bill Crook announced that he’d passed away.

News of his passing came from an Instagram post by Crook’s friend and fellow musician Kai Turmann. According to their post, they were asked by the bassist’s mother to share the news with the world.

“Hi everyone. I have some absolutely devastating news to share. I’m so profoundly sad to say that our dear friend Bill Crook has passed away. He was a friend to so many, and a dear friend to me since we were children. Bill was, and is, loved by so many people, and I’m so incredible sorry to have to share this devastating information with you.

“There will be many words and many tears, but for now I just need to get the terrible news out. Im so sorry. I love you all. I love you Bill.”

Crook was a member of Spiritbox from 2018 to 2022. He was credited with providing backing vocals on the band’s 2021 album Eternal Blue.
