Kerry King’s Worst Show Ever Involves Wiping Out During an Iconic Slayer Moment
Even the most successful and iconic dudes in metal have their off days. Though he wasn’t exactly willing to say he’s had “bad” shows per se beyond Slayer‘s early years, guitarist Kerry King certainly has surely had his share of on-stage mishaps.
In our latest edition of the ‘Worst Show Ever’ series, King takes us back to the Reign In Blood tour for a classic case of expecting one thing, getting another, and ultimately paying the price for it. I won’t go into too much here since Kerry does a great job painting a picture of what happened, but rest assured the image of someone having to physically pick him up off the floor seems so funny to me.
We’d like to give a huge thanks to Kerry King for taking the time to sit down with us and take his trip down memory land with us. It’s always a blast to get a legend like him on the site.
