Unearth Release Surprise EP, More Live Dates Announced
Surprise, mofos! If you hadn’t looked at our Shit That Comes Out Today post earlier this morning, you may not already know that Unearth dropped an unexpected EP titled Bask In The Blood Of Our Demons. Featuring two previously unreleased tracks and two live cuts from a show they did in Texas last year, this drop is a welcome surprise.
According to the band, the song “Warrior Souls” is particularly special because it apparently continues the narrative from their previous full-length release The Wretched; The Ruinous.
“It’s a pit starter from the opening seconds and is heavy and uncompromising throughout. Lyrically it imagines a desolate time when future generations take vengeance on their living predecessors for not doing more to save our environment from becoming uninhabitable and our species being on the brink of extinction. The more unlivable our world becomes, the fewer political, religious and cultural divides will exist. There will be only two missions remaining for the human race; survival and retribution.”
