Green Lung Coming to North America for the First Time

British stoner/doom metal act Green Lung will be crossing the pond for the first time ever later this summer, as they hit the east coast for nine shows.

Set to kick off on September 13 in Baltimore and coming to an end in Richmond, Virginia on August 21, the tour will make stops in all the major locales, including Boston and Philly. Included in their newly announced run of dates will be their performance at this year’s Desertfest in Brooklyn. Canadian fans don’t necessarily need to feel left out in the cold, either, as Green Lung have shows lined up in Toronto and Montreal.

Speaking of the upcoming tour, Green Lung said they were excited to make their presence known in this part of the world.

“HEATHEN REALM MMXXIV. It’s finally happening! Our first ever North American tour is booked for September, taking in eight cities around our Desertfest NYC appearance, with support from very special guests in the mighty and fantastical Castle Rat.”

Speaking of Castle Rat, they’ll be coming along for this run after releasing their debut album Into the Realm came out earlier this year.

Castle Rat vocalist and guitarist Riley Pinkerton shared her enthusiasm for the tour.

“We are ecstatic to join the mighty Green Lung on this leg of their tour. On our mission to expand The Realm, they have answered the call. Now is Forever!”
