Carcass Announce Fall Tour Dates in Mexico
British grindcore and extreme metal act Carcass already said earlier this year that they’re going to focus on touring rather than going back into the studio to record more new material, saying that they’d rather wait until everyone’s on the same page before going back to work on a new album. That’s probably for the best rather than forcing a follow-up to 2021’s Torn Arteries. Bands that force themselves to put out a new album when they aren’t ready end up with shit like Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, and nobody wants that from Carcass. Now they’re expanding their current tour by adding a string of dates in Mexico. Here’s what they had to say about the new dates on their Instagram:
“Mexico!!! We are coming for you! November this year we will be infecting your wretched shores with the most cantankerous, rotten carneous cacoffiny you’ve ever experienced!”
Leave it to Carcass to put the coffin in cacoffiny, quite literally because it’s spelled “cacophony.” It promises to be an exciting tour. Check out the full list of Mexican tour dates below:
