First Two Zimmer’s Hole Albums to Get Re-Issued Later This Summer
Canada’s had some great rock and metal exports over the decades, from Rush to Voivod to Cryptopsy, our friends in the Great White North know how to write a riff and throw down in the pit. Yet one band that deserved way more attention than it ever got was the mighty Zimmer’s Hole.
Featuring members from Strapping Young Lad, Tenet, Fear Factory, and 3 Inches of Blood, they were an irreverent force that far too many people slept on. Thankfully, M-Theory Audio is helping alleviate that problem with the upcoming re-issue of the band’s first two albums 1997’s Bound By Fire and and 2001’s Legion of Flames.
Originally released on Devin Townsend’s label HevyDevy Records, these releases are wild, full of crass jokes and badass riffs. And while I personally think their third album When You Were Shouting at the Devil, We Were In League With Satan is their best, the fact that the first two albums are getting some love is exciting, to say the least.
These re-issues will be available on digipak CD and limited-edition vinyl when they come out on August 23. You can pre-order your copies today.
