Demiser to Release Slave to the Scythe This August, “Infernal Bust” Streaming Now

If the skies over South Carolina have been a little darker as of late, it’s probably because Demiser’s got a slate of new music coming pretty soon. Earlier today, the band announced that their sophomore album Slave To The Scythe will be released on August 23 via Black Light Media.

Boasting a nine-song track list, the album’s being described by the band as a “devastatingly intense slab of work; an aural harbinger of hellish intent that sees the band blend ’80s thrash, first-wave black metal, death metal, and a healthy dose of NWOBHM. Slave To The Scythe is the work of a band of men determined to destroy everything in their path. Musically, of course.”

To celebrate the announcement, the band released the first of three planned singles off the album, titled “Infernal Bust.” And if you’ve been in the mood for some blackened thrash, this shit will be exactly what you’re looking for.

Speaking of the track itself, the band said “Infernal Bust” came to them pretty quickly.

“We wrote the music for this one in a single practice, it came together pretty quickly. Then Demiser the Demiser’s dumb ass decided to call it ‘Whores And Fire’ and we told him to shut the fuck up and call it something cooler. We still failed. The lyrics are about the downfall of man through a really evil cumshot.”
