Yngwie Malmsteen Announces 40th Anniversary U.S. Tour

Neoclassical metal artist Yngwie Malmsteen has been absolutely shredding guitars and listeners’ ears for decades whilst simultaneously tying up the tongues of anyone trying to pronounce his name. The Swedish guitar master, who started out in the bands Steeler and Alcatrazz back in the ‘80s before embarking on his wildly successful solo project, is launching on a U.S. tour to celebrate 40 years of his illustrious career. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of his debut solo album, Rising Force, so it only makes sense to celebrate four incredible decades of music.

The tour kicks off in Fort Myers, Florida in September and runs through to the finale in New York in November. Tickets are available on his website. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
