Ghost’s Papa Emeritus IV Takes a Breather During “Kaisarion” in Right Here, Right Now Clip
We’re now about a week out from the international debut of Ghost‘s first theatrical film Right Here, Right Now and ticket demand has been pretty high. Fans are stoked to find out what happens to Papa Emeritus IV and potentially get a glimpse into the band’s narrative future. Well, earlier today the band released a short snippet of the flick in which we get to see Papa cool his heels a bit during a guitar solo in “Kaisarion.”
It’s an interesting little moment, because it further shows that while the film will have concert footage from their two shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last year, it will also have some asides sprinkled throughout in an effort to also tell a story. Not unlike Metallica’s Through The Never or Led Zeppelin’s The Song Remains The Same.
Additionally, the show will feature an entirely new song titled “Future Is A Foreign Land,” though we don’t know much about the track at all other than who wrote it.
Originally slated to only be shown in theaters just twice worldwide on June 20 and June 22, with some smaller theaters also showing it on June 21, an additional day of June 23 has now been opened up for the viewing public. Exact screening dates will vary between territories and regions, so again — check your local theater’s listings.
So if you’re excited to see this in theaters, be sure to grab your tickets today. In addition, there’s a movie soundtrack that’s also available as an 18-song release that will be available in all formats. You can preorder your copy today.
