The Jesus Lizard to Release Their First New Music in 26 Years

Nearly three decades is a loooong time to wait for anything, let alone new music, but The Jesus Lizard fans have had to do that. Luckily, the wait is coming to an end in less than 24 hours, as the band recently announced that they’d be putting out…something… on Wednesday, June 5 via Ipecac Music.

Currently comprised of vocalist David Yow, guitarist Duane Denison, bassist David Wm. Sims, and drummer Mac McNeilly, The Jesus Lizard has been dropping subtle hints about new music for a while now. Recently, the band also posted a teaser on their Instagram page.

In addition to the new tunes, the band has some dates lined up for some shows and festivals. You can find these shows at the following dates:
