Marilyn Manson Adds Another U.S. Headlining Show
Last month saw a flurry of news and activity from Marilyn Manson‘s camp, as the legally embattled shock rocker works to return back to the spotlight. Not only did he announce a long line of tour dates with Slaughter To Prevail, but he’s got plans to tour with Five Finger Death Punch — oh and he signed with Nuclear Blast.
Well today, that return tour got a little bigger, as he announced yet another headlining tour date to coincide with his FFDP run. Set for August 11 in Madison, Wisconsin, he’ll hit the stage at The Sylvee. It’s just one of a number of headlining shows he’s got lined up.
Manson’s been a busy man in recent years, but for all the wrong reasons. Having initially been dropped by his old label Loma Vista back in 2021 when allegations from multiple women began making the rounds online, he’s been involved in a number of court cases. Most of them involve some deep, dark, and disturbing allegations of sexual assault and misconduct, as well as intimidation and threats of violence against his former lovers and assistants, including actress and former girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood.
Though you may think those are all over since he’s now making the rounds as an artist again, you’d be wrong. Some civil lawsuits remain active in court, including the one involving an ex-personal assistant in which it’s alleged that Manson committed “sexual assault, battery, and harassment” against the woman in question. He’s also still facing charges involving the alleged grooming and sexual assault of a minor that allegedly took place in the 90s.
Oh and don’t forget the defamation suit he filed against Wood and Ilma Gore. In that case, Manson claims the two women orchestrated a campaign to get numerous women to make false accusations against the musician.
