Carnifex Announce North American Tour with Cryptopsy and Mental Cruelty
A killer tour featuring some absolutely brutal acts was announced earlier today. And while that’s not necessarily a surprising statement to read, extreme metal fans from Canada may want to take particular notice, as the run of dates featuring Carnifex, Cryptopsy, and Mental Cruelty will spend more than just a couple dates in Toronto and Quebec in your home country.
Set to kick off on October 4 in Pomona, California and coming to an end on November 3 in Reno, Nevada, the tour will also feature supporting sets f rom Organectomy and Heavy Hitter.
Speaking of the tour, Carnifex noted it’s been a particularly long wait for fans in specific parts of Canada since they’d been able to catch the band live.
“It’s been 7 years since we last hit Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Ottawa or Quebec City in 2017, and even longer back to 2010 (14 years!) for Vancouver and Winnipeg!” wrote Carnifex. “We hit Palmdale back in 2010, Albany in 2014, and we may have NEVER played Bloomington or Stroudsburg?!”
You can find the full list of dates below. Keep in mind that there will be a number of dates where Cryptopsy won’t be part of the bill. If that’s a deal breaker, make sure you note those absences when planning your trip.
