Rejoice, Burton C. Bell Stans: The Ex-Fear Factory Vocalist Has Announced His First Solo Showcase
It’s been a couple months since he released his first solo single “Anti-Droid”, but it looks like ex-Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell‘s ready to get back on stage for the first time as a solo act. In a social media post from earlier today, he revealed that his first solo show will take place on June 13 at 1720 in Los Angeles, California.
Tickets will only be $15 and the show will include supporting sets from Spirit In The Room and Sordes Dominum. In his announcement post, Bell said he was excited to see this next part of his career kick off in earnest.
“My emergence from the machine unveils the genesis for my next chapter for all to hear my NEW SONGS and classics spanning my career. This will lead to more opportunities.”
In addition to the show announcement, he also revealed that guitarist Henrik Linde (The Vitals, Dren), drummer Ryan Junior Kittlitz (All Hail The Yeti, The Acid Helps), bassist Tony Baumeister (ÆGES), and Stewart Cararas will serve as his backing band.
In addition to “Anti-Droid” and whatever other solo songs he’s got in the pipe, Bell has gone on record in the past saying he’ll also perform some “deep cuts” from his Fear Factory days.
“I’m in the process of booking a show. It’s gonna be a showcase. It’s gonna be in L.A., and I have a band together. They’re already working on [the set]. It’s a retrospection, so I plan to play four new songs, some deep-cut Fear Factory, some [Ascension of the] Watchers, some G/Z/R, some City of Fire.
“My new music is an amalgamation of everything I’ve ever done, and I’m gonna basically put it all together into this package and just see what happens. And the live show, it’s gonna be heavy, it’s gonna be groovy. And I wanna create a vibe. I really do.”
I mean… for $15, you can’t really go wrong — can you?
